Background
Clinical, school-based, and telehealth experience
Melisa holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Pace University and a Bachelor of Arts from CUNY Brooklyn College. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), and holds New York’s Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification and Washington’s Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
Licensed in New York, New Jersey, California, and Washington, Melisa has worked across clinical, school-based, and telehealth settings, which has given her a well-rounded perspective on how communication challenges show up in everyday life.
Therapy works best when it’s built around the individual, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Every client receives a personalized treatment plan designed around their real-world goals, like being understood in the classroom, communicating confidently at work, or reconnecting with loved ones after a health event.
Parents, your way
Parents are always welcome in my sessions with children, and you can be as involved as you want to be. I’ll share the strategies that make the biggest difference between appointments.
Online, by design
My practice is 100% telehealth. Parents can join sessions without rearranging their day, and children practice in their natural environment, which is exactly where communication skills need to work.
